Gulf in a dream meaning

Gulf:

  • A gulf represents one’s partisans or immediate entourage, or it could represent a gate if the seawater indicates so in the dream.

  • If the water level of such a gulf rises at a time when the tides are usually low, it means a rebellion in the land. The same applies if the opposite occurs.

  • In a dream, a gulf may also represent shelter and safety from havoc.

  • It can also symbolize the middle road, a middleman, or an average person whose righteousness or spirituality is measured by his level of ease.

  • It may also represent serious devotion.

Gutter of Mercy (Mizaab):

  • If one sees the Gutter of Mercy in a dream — located on the roof of the Holy Ka‘aba in Mecca, either inside a mosque or a house — it carries the same interpretation as seeing the Well of Zamzam.

  • Standing under the Gutter of Mercy at the Holy Ka‘aba means one’s wishes will come true, especially if pure, fresh water pours through it.

  • However, if murky water flows through it, it indicates the opposite.

  • (Also see Gutter; Ka‘aba; Zamzam)
