Tuesday is regarded as the day of diseases.  It was on this day that Allah Almighty had created the diseases as it is mentioned in the Hadeeth narrated by Hazrat Ibn Mas’ood – may Allah be pleased with Him as follows:

Allah Almighty created diseases on Tuesday.  He descended Iblees on earth on this day, created hell, appointed the angel of death on the souls of humans, Qabeel murdered Habeel, Hazrat Moosa and Haroon – peace be upon Them, passed away and Hazrat Ayyoob – peace be upon Him – was put through a test through disease on this day.

(Faid Al-Qadeer Sharah Jame’ Sagheer Vol. 1, p. 47)

Tuesday is also the day of blood.  Blood temperature is on rise on this day and in it there is a specific window that if one were to go through the process of phlebotomy in that particular moment the bleeding does not stop and sometimes the person dies.

Allamah Ibn Jareer – may Allah be pleased with Him – states that Hazrat Zuhair – may Allah be pleased with Him – has mentioned that three individuals had died in phlebotomy on Tuesday but that moment is concealed so that people refrain from phlebotomy the whole day so they do not have to suffer.

(Faid Al-Qadeer Sharah Jame’ Sagheer Vol. 2, p. 549)

It is mentioned in the Hadeeth:

Tuesday is the day of blood, and in it there is a moment in which the bleeding does not stop.

(Jame’ Sagheer Vol. 2, p. 549)

Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik – may Allah be pleased with Him – narrated that the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon Him – responded the following when asked about Tuesday:

“It’s the day of blood.”  They asked, “And how is that, O Allah’s Messenger?”  He replied, “Because Hazrat Hawwa – may Allah be pleased with Her – menstruated on this day and the son of Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – killed his brother on this day.

(Ghunyatut Taalibeen Vol. 2, p. 73)

Important Events that Occurred on Tuesday:

Seven significant individuals were killed on Tuesday:

  1. Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him.
  2. Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon Him
  3. Hazrat Zakariyya – peace be upon Him
  4. The magicians of Pharaoh
  5. Hazrat Aasiyah – may Allah be pleased with Her – the wife of Pharaoh
  6. The cow of Bani Israel
  7. Hazrat Habeel

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 66)

  1. The murder of Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him

Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – existed in the era of a kind who was an idolater.  One day, he prepared his throne for the idols and placed the idols on the throne and decorated them with rubies and pearls.  He made the area fragrant with Kasturi and camphor and burnt a fire in front of the throne.  He would spare the life of the ones that fell into prostration before the idol and whoso refused to do it he would throw them into the fire.

Allah Almighty sent Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – as a Prophet to guide the king to the straight path.  He invited him towards worshipping Allah Almighty alone who has no partner and said to him, “O king, why do you worship such idols who can neither hear anything nor can they see anything nor are they capable of removing a calamity?”

The king replied, “Since, I have started worshipping the idols I have been enjoying the riches and other bounties but I received no bounties by worshipping your Lord.”

Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – said, “The bounties of the world are temporary and are definitely to be doomed soon and the bounties of paradise are eternal.”  They argued for long on this subject.

At last, the king summoned to kill Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – and issued the command to boil mustard and vinegar then it should be poured onto the body of Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – and then the meat should be trimmed off his bones with scissors and leave nothing but bare bones.

Hence, those tyrant did all this but Allah Almighty brought him back to life and made him even more handsome than he already was, after which, he loudly said to the king, “Read Laa Ilaaha IllAllah”.  The king became angry and issued the command to bring six big nails.  When it was brought he nailed his both hands with two nails and his feet with two nails, one on his head and the sixth nail on his heart.

Allah Almighty sent an angel who took out all the nails from his body parts and there he came alive once again, and repeated the same, “Read Laa Ilaaha IllAllah”.  The king then asked for a big pot and burnt a fire underneath it and put Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – in it, so that he could be burnt and roasted to death, Allah forbid!

But Allah Almighty had caused a stream to flow by the pot due to which he did not get hurt at all.  The tyrants tried numerous tricks to kill and punish him even after that.  Some narrated that the number of times they conspired and attempted his punishment was 70 times while some books suggest that it was 100 but remained safe by the Power of Allah Almighty.

At last, when the tyrants were fed up of making futile attempts, the king proposed Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – saying, “Jirjees, if you listen to just one thing I have to say I will follow each and every command of yours.  You just have to bow your head before my idol and I will be prepared to follow you in everything.”

Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – kept quiet and the king thought that he had accepted his proposal.

The king said, “Jirjees, I have punished you in various ways and put you through so many hardships.  Today, come with me to my palace so you spend the night in peace.  He proceeded to the royal palace but he spent the night in praying Salah and recitation of Zaboor Shareef.

The king’s wife was heavily inspired by his recitation and began to cry, and ultimately became a believer.  When Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – was about to leave the royal palace the king invited him to prostrate before the idol once again but he refused his proposal.  He locked him in the house of an elderly woman who lived in the house with her deaf and dumb child.  They took away all the foodstuff and groceries in attempt to make him starve.

There was a berry tree in her house which had dried up but became green with his Du’a and bore good quality berries.  When the elderly woman saw the berries she embraced Islam and requested Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – to make Du’a for the recovery of her child’s health.  When he supplicated the child became healthy.

He said to the child to go to the temple and tell those idols that Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – has called them.  The young man went to the temple where 70 idols were kept and conveyed his message to the idols.  By the Power of Allah Almighty all the idols ran and appeared before him.  He kicked his foot onto the ground and the ground sank them into itself.  When the king’s wife saw this miracle she climbed on top of the palace and announced:

“Dear citizens!  Do yourselves a favour and embrace Islam.”

The king said to his wife, “I have been observing countless miracles for 70 years but I never embraced Islam yet, upon seeing just once are you to embrace Islam?!

The wife replied, “Not embracing Islam is your bad luck and my embracing  Islam is my good fortune.”  Driven by anger the tyrant king killed his wife.

Hazrat Jirjees – peace be upon Him – supplicated in the court of Allah Almighty, “I have been enduring the torments from the ill-fated kuffaar for 70 years and now I have no strength left, therefore bless me with martyrdom, O Allah and descend dreadful torments on them.”

His Du’a was answered and the tyrants had pull their swords and made him Shaheed then a fire came down from the sky and burnt the tyrants to ashes.

This entire event occurred on Tuesday.

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 68-69)

  1. Hazrat Yahya’s – peace be upon Him – Murder on Tuesday

A king had killed Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon Him on Tuesday.  Once, there was a king in Bani Israel who had a wife that had a daughter from her former husband and she wanted to get her married to the king so that he does not propose any other woman for marriage.

She threw a party in which she invited Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon Him – as well.  She sought his permission to marry her daughter to the king and he refused saying, “It is totally forbidden in Islam.” And he left after that.

The king’s wife was very angry with him and tried to find ways to have him killed.  One day, she got her husband drunk and presented her daughter in front of him in a very charming attire and beautified manner then said to the king, “Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon him – forbids you from marrying this girl.”

The king immediately called Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon Him – and asked about the issue of marrying his wife’s daughter.  He replied, “It is clearly forbidden and this marriage cannot happen.”  The king who was heavily unstable in intoxication summoned to kill him and he was slaughtered like a sheep.

Seeing this the angels in the sky asked in the court of Allah Almighty, “O Allah, for what crime have they killed Hazrat Yahya – peace be upon Him?”

Allah Almighty replied, “Neither has Yahya committed a crime nor he had the intention of committing one but he loves Me and I love him, and in sacrificing a life is natural in love.

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 69)

Story:

When Hazrat Husain Hallaaj – may Allah be pleased with Him – was kept in prison Hazrat Shibli – may Allah be pleased with Him – came to visit him and asked, “What is love, O Husain?”

He replied, “Do not ask me today, ask me about it tomorrow.”

The next day when the soldiers took him out of the jail and took him for execution.  When he saw Hazrat Shibli – may Allah be pleased with Him – passing in front of him, he said, “O Shibli, the beginning of love is fiery and it’s its end is execution.”

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 70)

Story:

Hazrat Bayazeed Bustaami – may Allah be pleased with Him – was passing through a village and found forty men, who strived in the path of spirituality, dead due to extreme hunger and thirst.

He asked in the court of Allah Almighty, “You have Your friends killed.  For how long will You continue the bloodshed of Your friends?”

A voice came from the unseen, “O Bayazeed, yes, I do bloodshed but I also pay its fine.”  He asked, “What is the fine?”

He replied, “The fine of the victim of a creation is money but the fine of My victim is My Deedaar (vision and visit).

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 70)

  1. Hazrat Zakariyya’s – peace be upon Him – Murder

The incident of Hazrat Zakariyya’s – peace be upon Him – murder occurred on Tuesday.  Hazrat Zakariyya – peace be upon Him – was running away from the jews who were coming after him and when they were coming close he saw a tree and said to it, “Protect me.”  The tree burst open and he entered inside.  When the jews reached there they could not find him.  The enemies of mankind, Shaitaan appeared and told them that he is hidden inside the tree, so if you cut the tree into two he will die in the process by himself.  As advised by the devil they started cutting the tree from the middle and when the blade touched his skull he screamed with pain and a let out a sigh.

The angels in the sky were panicking.  Hazrat Jibreel – peace be upon Him – descended and told him, “Allah Almighty has stated that if you let out another sigh he shall erase your name from the list of Ambiya.”

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 71)

Story:

Once, Hazrat Yahya Ibn Mu’aadh Raazi – may Allah be pleased with Him – was praying to his Lord Almighty in the night.  He said, “O Allah!  When I strive in Your pursuit You put me through trials and tests and if I were to distance myself from You then You cause me to burn, when I love You then You have me killed; so there is no way to get away with You.”

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat 71)

  1. The Murder of the Magicians of Pharaoh:

Pharaoh once arranged a big fair where he gathered all the great magicians of that time against one individual Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him.  Millions of people attended the fair and the magician started to play their magic.  Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – alone was the opposition against all those magicians.  When they swore by the honour of Pharaoh and threw their sticks and ropes on the ground they all transformed into snakes and spread all over the floor and started to sting. The entire gathering of people started to run for their lives due to fear of the horrific scene.  The magicians began to celebrate over their tricks and at that moment, Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – threw his stick in the middle of all those snakes and it transformed into such a gigantic python that it swallowed all those snakes.  Looking at this great miracle the magicians fell into prostration accepting their defeat and began to proclaim loundly:

‘We believed in him, who is the Lord of Musa and Haroon.

(Taha 20, Verse 70)

The Holy Quran mentioned the incident in the following manner:

They said, ‘O Musa! either you cast or we cast first’.

Musa said, ‘may you cast, hence their ropes and staffs looked to him as though they were running by the strength of their magic.

Then Musa got a fear within himself.

We said, ‘fear not, undoubtedly you have the dominance.

And cast down what is in your right hand, it will swallow their makings. That which they have made is the trick of the magician, and the magician does not prosper, anywhere he comes.

Then all the magicians were made to prostrate. They said, ‘we believed in him, who is the Lord of Musa and Haroon.

(Taha 20, Verse 65-70)

At the end, Pharaoh killed them mercilessly after cutting their hands and feet.

It is mentioned in the Hadeeth Shareef that when the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon Him – was travelling into the heavens in the night of Me’raj, he states, “I saw the birds of a green colour on the trees of paradise.  When I enquired about them then it became known that these were the souls of the ones whom Pharaoh had killed.

(Kitaab Al-Sab’iyyaat p. 71)

  1. Hazrat Aasiyah’s – may Allah be pleased with Her – Murder, the Wife of Pharaoh

Hazrat Aasiyah Bint Mazaahim – may Allah be pleased with Her – was Pharaoh’s wife.  Pharaoh was the worst enemy of Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – but when Hazrat Aasiyah – may Allah be pleased with Her – saw the magicians being defeated against Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – the light of Imaan illuminated her heart and she embraced Imaan.  When Pharaoh came to find out, he tortured her in every possible way and beat her to no limits.  He then tied both her hands and legs at all four corners to the nails, placed a big stone on her chest and left her in the scorching heat of the sun without any food or water.

In this state, she sought Allah’s refuge from his oppression and asked Du’a for Jannah and passed away in this state.

Hazrat Ibn Kaisaan has stated, “She was raised into heaven while she was still alive.”

  1. Slaughtering of the Cow of Bani Israel:

It’s a very important and great Quranic incident, and due to this the name of the Surah was kept “Al-Baqarah (The Cow)” after it.

There was a very pious elderly man in the nation of Bani Israel who had only one minor child.  He only possessed a she-calf.  Just before his demise he took the calf into a jungle and left it by a bush and said a prayer, “O Allah! I am putting this calf in Your trust until my young one turns mature”.  The man died after that and the calf grew into a middle aged cow over time and the child grew mature and became obedient to his mother and a very pious man.  He had divided his nights into three portions:

  1. To sleep
  2. To worship
  3. To serve his mother

He would go into the jungle to cut wood every morning and the sell them and used to donate one-third of the earnings as Sadaqah and spend one-third on himself and the remainder one-third he gave to his mother.

One day, the mother told him, “Your father had left a calf in inheritance which he had left in the bush of a certain jungle in Allah’s trust.  You should now go to the bush and say a prayer ‘O the Lord of Hazrat Ibraheem, Isma’eel and Ishaaq (peace be upon Them)! Return the trust of my father to me and the sign of the calf is that it is pale in color and its skin is glittering as if the sun’s rays are emanating from it’.”  The son went into jungle and said the prayer, and the cow came running towards him and stood by him.  When he brought her home his mother said to him, “Sell it in the market for 3 gold coins and do not give it to any customer without consultation.”  The market price for a cow was in fact 3 gold coins in that era.  A customer entered the market who was actually an angel and said, “I will give you 3 more gold coins for this cow if you sell it to me without consulting your mother.”  “No matter what amount you offer I shall never sell it without consulting my mother” said the son.  When he narrated the incident to his mother, she said, “This customer must have been an angel.  You should consult him whether you should sell the cow now or not.”  So when he inquired the customer in the market, he said, “Do not sell it now.  The people of Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – will buy it from you in future and you must demand gold to the capacity of its skin as its price, and they will buy it for that price.

Hence, a few days later, two nephews killed their uncle by the name “’Aameel” who was a wealthy man of Bani Israel killed and abandoned his body in a deserted place.  The investigation started the next morning but when they failed to get a clue some people went to Hazrat Moosa – peace be upon Him – and inquired about the killer.  He replied, “You all should slaughter a cow and then hit his corpse with its tongue or tail, and then he will come to life and will automatically disclose the name of his murderer.”  Hearing this the Bani Israel started to question about the cow’s color, its age etc. and ultimately when they came to understand properly as to what type of a cow is required they began to look for a cow of this nature until when they approached the guy that had the cow and realized that it was the cow of the same characteristics that they needed.  Hence, they bought the cow with gold to the capacity of its skin as its price and slaughtered it, and then hit his dead body with the tongue, he came to life and said, “My murderers are the two nephews of my uncle who have murdered me in the greed of my wealth.” And then he died after identifying his murderers.  However, both the murderers were sentenced to death in return and the son of the pious man who was obedient to his mother was blessed with abundant wealth.

(Tafseer Saawi, Vol. 1, p. 75)

The entire event is mentioned in the Quranic verses as follows:

And when Moses said to his people, “Allah commands you to slaughter a cow”. They said, “you make us a laughing stock”. He said, “refuge of Allah, that I be among the ignorants”.

They said, “pray to your Lord that He tell to us, what kind of cow it is,” he said, “says

He, she is a cow, neither old nor immature, but in between both”, so do what you are commanded.

They said, “Pray to your Lord that He tell to us what her colour is,” he said, ‘says He, she is a yellow cow, whose colour is intensely deep, delightful to the beholders”.

They said, “Pray to Your Lord that He explain clearly to us, what kind of cow is that. Certainly, we have become dubious about cows, and if Allah wills, we shall get the guidance.

(Moses) said, “Says He, that she is a cow, no service is taken from her nor she ploughs the earth, nor water the filth, unblemished in which there is no spot”. They said, “now you brought the truth”, then they slaughtered her unwillingly.

And when you shed blood, then began accusing each other for it and Allah was to disclose what you were hiding.

Then We said, “strike the slain with a part of that cow. Allah thus will give life to the dead and show you His Signs, so that you may understand.

Then, thereafter your hearts hardened, then they are like stones, but harder than these; and of stones there are some from which rivers gush forth and some are those which split, then water comes therefrom and there are some which fall down for fear of Allah, and Allah is not unmindful of your doings.

Then O Muslims! Do you covet that the Jews would believe you? And one group of them was that which used to hear the words of Allah, then used to pervert it knowingly after having understood it.

And when they meet Muslims, they say, ‘we accepted the faith’, and when they are alone among themselves, then they say, “Do you explain to Muslims that knowledge which Allah disclosed to you, that they thereby argue with you before your Lord. Have you no wisdom?

Do they not know that Allah knows all that they conceal and all that they disclose?

And some of them are illiterate who do not know the Book, but oral reading or their own false notions and they are in mere supposition.

Then there is woe for them who write the Book with their own hands and then say, “this is from Allah”, so that they may gain small price in lieu of it. Then there is woe for them for the writings of their own hands and woe to them for such earning.

And they said, “the fire shall not touch us except for numbered days”, Say then, have you taken a promise from Allah, then Allah, will never break His Promise. Or you say about Allah that which you do not know.

Aye, why not who so earns vice and his sin encompasses him, he is one among the people of the hell, they have to remain therein forever.

And those, who accepted faith and did good works. They are the people of Paradise. They have to remain therein forever.

And when We took covenant from the children of Israel that worship none save Allah and do good to parents and to kindred, and orphans and the needy and speak good to people and establish prayer and pay the poor-due (Zakat); then you turned back, except a few among you and you are backsliders.

(Al-Baqarah 2, Verse 67-83)

Story:

A man came to visit Hazrat Umar – may Allah be pleased with Him – who had his child with him and the child was identical to his father.  In a state of surprise, Hazrat Umar – may Allah be pleased with Him – said, “I have never seen any child so identical to his father before.”

The man replied, “O Ameer Al-Mu’mineen!  My child is miraculous.  He remained in the grave for 9 months and after that he came out alive from the grave.”

Hazrat Umar – may Allah be pleased with Him asked, “Do you know what you are saying?”

He replied, “I intended to go on a journey at the time when this child was still in his mother’s stomach.  I prayed two Rak’ats of Nafl, lifted my hands and made Du’a, “O Allah! I give this child who is still in its mother’s stomach in Your protection.  Please, keep him safe until I return from my journey.”

I left and began my journey and I spent 9 months there, and when I returned I found out that my wife had died.  I went to her grave to pay her a visit and cried there vigorously.

Suddenly, I heard a voice coming from inside the grave and I went into a state of shock.  Lastly, when I dug the grave I saw that the whole body of my wife had been rotten and melted with sand and only her breasts were safe from which the child was drinking milk.  I picked up the child and said, “O Allah!  You have done me a very great favour by returning me my child.  I will be so grateful if you return my wife too.

A voice came from unseen, “You only gave your child in Allah’s trust which you have found in a sound state, had you given both your child and your wife in Allah’s protection Allah Almighty would have returned to you your wife safely as well.

  1. Hazrat Habeel’s – may Allah be pleased with Him – Murder

The first one to commit murder is Qabeel and the first victim of murder is Habeel.  Both Qabeel and Habeel are the sons of Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him.

Hazrat Hawwa – may Allah be pleased with Her, used to bear a male and a female with each pregnancy and the male child of one pregnancy used to get married to the female child from the other pregnancy.  According to this method, Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – planned Qabeel’s marriage with Liyodha who was born with Habeel but Qabeel did not agree with this, for hence, Aqleema was more beautiful, therefore he wanted to marry her.

Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – explained to him that since, Aqleema is born with you, and she is your sister, therefore you cannot marry her but Qabeel was persistent on this.  At last, Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – commanded both of them to offer sacrifice in the Court of Allah Almighty, and whose Qurbani is accepted will have a right over Aqleema.

In that time, the sign of the acceptance for one’s Qurbani was that some fire used to descend from sky and eat it up.  Hence, Qabeel offered few grains of wheat and Habeel offered the sacrifice of a goat.  The fire from sky ate up the sacrifice of Habeel and did not touch Qabeel’s sacrifice.  Qabeel’s heart became full of envy and malice on this and he decided to murder Habeel and told Habeel, “I will kill you.”  Habeel responded to his warning, “It was up to Allah to accept the sacrifice and He only accepts the sacrifice of pious and Allah-fearing men, and had you been pious He would have definitely accepted your sacrifice.”  He also added, “If you attempt to murder me I will not lay my hands on you, for I fear Allah Almighty.  I wish that my sins along with yours, both fall into your account and you become a member of hell, for this is the befitting punishment for the unjust.

At last, Qabeel committed the murder of his brother Habeel.  Habeel was 20 years old at the time of his murder and this incident occurred in Makkah Mukarramah near the mount Thaur or in the valley of the mount Hira.  According to another weak narration, it occurred in Basrah where the Masjid Azam is built, and it happened on Tuesday.  (And Allah Almighty knows best)

It is narrated that when Habeel was murdered, there was an earthquake in the earth for seven days and all the living creatures became restless, and Qabeel who was extremely fair in complexion and handsome, his face turned completely black and ugly.  Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – went through extreme sadness, so much so, that he never laughed for 100 years in the sorrow of losing Habeel and he recited a sad poem in Suryani language which translates as:

There is a change in the towns and their residents and the face of the earth became dirty and ugly

Every colourful and tasty object has changed and the glow of fair faces has decreased

Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – rebuked and chased Qabeel from his society in extreme anger, and the ill-fated Qabeel took Aqleema and travelled to ‘Adn, a place in Yemen.  Iblees approached him and said to him, “The fire ate up Habeel’s sacrifice because he used to worship fire, so you should built a temple for fire-worshipping and worship fire.”

Hence, Qabeel was the first person to worship fire and he was the first human being on earth to disobey Allah Almighty and first to unjustly murder someone, and he will be the first criminal to be thrown into hell.  It is in Hadeeth Shareef that Qabeel will be a shareholder in the murders that are to occur on the earth till the Day of Judgment, for he is the first one to lay its foundation.

His end was horrible.  One of his sons who was blind throw a rock on him and killed him and despite being the son of a Prophet he died while worshipping fire in the state of kufr and shirk by his own son’s hand.

(Roohul Bayaan Vol. 2, p. 379)

Hazrat Sheeth – peace be upon Him – was born five years after the murder of Habeel while Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – reached the age of 130 years.  He kept the name of this brilliant son of his “Sheeth”.  It’s a Suryani word which, in Arabic, means “Hibatullah” i.e. “Allah’s gift”.  Hazrat Adam – peace be upon Him – taught him all the fifty books that were revealed upon him and made him his inheritor and Caliph.  He prayed for virtues and blessings for his generation.  Our beloved Prophet, the seal of Prophethood – may Allah send peace and blessings upon Him – is from the descendants of Hazrat Sheeth – peace be upon Him.

(Roohul Bayaan Vol. 2, p. 376)

The Holy Quran has described this event in the following manner:

And narrate you to them the true news of the two sons of Adam, when they each offered an offering, then it was accepted from one and was not accepted from the other. He said! I swear that I shall kill you’. The other said, ‘Allah accepts only from God fearing’.

Undoubtedly, if you shall stretch your hand against me to kill me, then I shall not stretch my hand against you to kill you, I fear Allah, the Lord of all the Worlds.

I wish that my sin as well as your sin both should go to your side, so that you may be the man of Hell and this is the punishment of the unjust.

Then his soul induced him to kill his brother, so he killed him and remained in loseres.

(Al-Ma’idah 5, Verse 27-30)

The Nafl of Tuesday:

Hazrat Anas Ibn Maalik – may Allah be pleased with Him – narrated that the Holy Prophet – may Allah send peace and blessings upon Him – has stated:

If one prays 10 Rak’ats Nafl on Tuesday at the time when the sun is at its height, in each Rak’at Surah Fatiha once, Ayatul Kursi once and Surah Ikhlas thrice, then none of sins are recorded in his book of deeds and if he happens to die within the next 70 days he will be ranked as Shaheed and 70 years of his sins will be forgiven.
